The Recording Guide
Before you record a single frame, you'll receive a step-by-step guide covering lighting setup, camera angle, audio, wardrobe, and background. This is the same guide we give every client — because the difference between a video that looks professional and one that doesn't almost always comes down to setup, not delivery. You don't need a ring light or a fancy camera. You need to know what to do with what you already have.
Your Personalized Messaging Options
Using your answers to our intake questions, we craft three distinct 15-second messaging options that reflect your voice, your clients, and the way you work. These are not templates with your name dropped in. They are written specifically for you — using the language you used to describe your practice, shaped to follow best practices for video introductions (no clinical jargon, speaking to how the client feels, not just what you do). You can use one as-is, combine both into a 30-second version, or use them as a starting point and make them your own.
Professional Video Editing
Once you record your footage using our VideoAsk portal, we review it and edit it into a clean, polished video. We trim pauses, smooth pacing, and make sure the final product feels natural — not like a hostage video or a corporate training module.
Brand Integration
Your logo and brand colors are woven into the final video. The result looks like it belongs to your practice, not a generic template.
Two Final Deliverables
You receive a 15-second version and a 30-second version, both ready to download and upload wherever you need them — Psychology Today, your website, Instagram, wherever your ideal clients are looking.
HOW IT WORKS
Step 1 — Answer the intake questions
Fill out our short questionnaire about your practice, your clients, and how you work. This takes about 10–15 minutes and is the foundation for everything that follows. (You may have already done this during a workshop — your answers are saved.)
Step 2 — Receive your messaging options
Within a short time of submitting your answers, you'll receive two personalized 15-second messaging options to review. Read them, sit with them, tweak the language if something doesn't feel quite right.
Step 3 — Record your video
Use our recording portal to watch a brief setup walkthrough and record your intro directly in your browser — no downloads, no file transfers, no tech headaches. Most people get a usable take within two or three tries.
Step 4 — We review and edit
We review your footage within 24–48 hours. If everything looks good, we move straight to editing. If we notice a technical issue (lighting, audio, framing), we'll send a specific, friendly note with exactly what to adjust before we begin.
Step 5 — Receive your finished videos
Within 5–7 business days of footage approval, your two branded videos are delivered and ready to go live.

TERMS & WHAT TO EXPECT
Refund Policy
My Practice Video packages are refundable as follows. A full refund is available before your messaging options have been delivered. A 50% refund is available after messaging delivery, before you submit your raw footage. No refund is available once your footage has been reviewed, regardless of whether editing has begun — footage review represents a meaningful investment of time on our end.
Package Expiration
All packages must be completed within 90 days of purchase. This means your footage must be submitted within that window. Packages that expire due to non-submission are non-refundable. You will receive reminder emails at Day 45 and Day 75. Extension requests must be submitted before the expiration date and are considered on a case-by-case basis.
Footage Quality
My Practice Video reserves the right to request a retake if submitted footage does not meet the technical standards outlined in the Recording Guide — specifically lighting, audio clarity, stable framing, and an appropriate background. Editing will not begin until footage has been reviewed and approved. One retake request is included at no additional cost. Additional retake requests beyond the first are subject to a $15 fee.
Delivery Timeline
Final videos will be delivered within 5–7 business days of footage approval.
